Meet a Wine Lover

My name is Joyce Cortes. I am Independent Wine Consultant from WineShop At Home. I started my wine tasting business since September 10, 2012.

Before Becoming a Wine Consultant...

I used to work with the disabled people in various workplaces for years, I decided to leave my stressful career due to my back pain last March 30, 2012. As a result of that, I am so much happy to spend my time with my family and catch up my back pain recovery. Still, I am continued to attend the treatments as long as I take acupuncture for my back pain.

My Designing Business...

After I voluntarily quit my stressful job, I continue to work as a blog and web designer. I completed the blog and web designing courses via online workshops. They were amazingly incredible blog and web designing classes.

But....

I want to earn extra income to support my family needs. In my search of  many home-based businesses, I found a few home-based businesses that did not interest me very much, in result of that they are not my types. In my mind, I wanted to build my wine business in my vineyard but, I know that California is very expensive! 

Finally! 

Last September 9, 2012, my future cousin from my fiance's side hosted In-Home Wine Tasting party at her place. My fiance and I attended the party, I realized that a wine-related home based business was not so hard. It was very simple wine career opportunity. I knew, in my heart, that I wanted to build my own business and help people to understand the opinions between wines and beverages, the wine and health, and so many subjects in relating to the wines.
